Behind the Scene

  • As creative director of our season 2 promotional shoot for "Behind the Scene"* with Anaa Saber, my goal was to capture the sheer icon of New York City's most recognizable historical and cinematic references. Instead of typical static shots on a cyc wall with New York-centric props, we opted for a more dramatic, dynamic, and cinematic approach.

My creative brief for this project eventually outlined our desire for creating bold and imaginative concepts to promote the second season of this show - sending the message to our audience that we're going bigger and better this season.

By collaborating with the brilliant Spencer Clark, a NYC-based photographer and master editor, we brought this vision to life, producing stunning visuals that reflect the energy and creativity of New York. (Final product below)

  • I had the opportunity to act as producer for the first episode of Behind the Scene Season 2 , titled "Singles Edition with Tefi Pessoa."*

Taking into consideration the prolific guest star's brand as the internet's big sister who often gives the best dating advice, I crafted the perfect concept for Tefi's episode - a series of speed dates with hot single men as an exploration of the dating pool in New York City. The results; How could they have been anything short of hilarious?

  • The most recent episode I produced for Behind the Scene was also the most dynamic one in the show's history, titled "Models Off-Duty."*

The concept was simple -- what do models do in their free time off the runway? For this episode of the show, we took Anaa and her best friend, fellow model Jordan Daniels, on a wild adventure around New York City to have the best day off ever.

  • As a way to increase brand awareness, I wrote the script* for a 5-episode short-form web series that aimed to bring the insane energy of our real-life office to the screens of our audience. What was initially greenlit as a fun marketing idea quickly turned into a full-blown production.

LOGLINE: Within the energetic halls of Mad Realities, a motley crew of newly hired 20-somethings — including a scattered software engineer, an ambitious but struggling writer, a slacker social media manager, and a spiritually misguided assistant — stumble through their jobs, wreaking havoc and hilarity while trying to hide their incompetence amidst the real-life chaos of a bustling workplace.

  • With the help of my producer and the company's CEO, we scouted, contacted, and auditioned dozens of NYC-based comedians for the roles of our five main characters. Keeping chemistry, distribution (TikTok and Instagram), and talent in mind, we eventually assembled the perfect team of rising stars to deliver this series from page to screen.

  • With scripts finalized, our cast and extras locked in, and production calendars set, it was time to finally do the damn thing.

I directed our 5-episode web series, which we shot in two days across 16 hours. The cast and crew size for this project was 24, including 5 principal actors, 13 extras, 2 cam ops, 1 boom, 1 PA and 2 ADs.

No Signal Campaign

  • Operating in my role as Marketing Manager at Mad Realities, I was tasked with finding an engaging and creative way to reintroduce our brand to the world after a lengthy break from publishing content.

Inspired by our company's retro television and media tech motifs, my team and I conceptualized the No Signal Campaign* -- a 2-day interactive series of clues that hinted at an impending relaunch.

The campaign consisted of three videos of retro monitors displaying anagrams and reversed voiceover narrations as clues for viewers to solve.

The clues were accompanied by an on-theme CTA: "OUTAGE REPORTED IN YOUR AREA:: Text customer support at +1 (917) 810-3314 to speak with a Mad Realities technician about restoring your TV connection."

Once the clues were solved by community members, they had the opportunity to live chat with a "Mad Realities technician" through SMS to see if their solutions were correct.

Once "connection was restored" the campaign concluded with the release of three more assets - the announcement of our first scripted series, the announcement of Season 2 of Behind the Scene, and the announcement of our fully rebranded streaming platform, Mad TV. (Final products below).
